Weekend Extra Waiter/Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a motivated extra waiter/waitress to join our weekend team at the Barceló Hotel in Murcia’s Siete Coronas area. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests while maintaining a pleasant and efficient dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and sell food and beverages in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure their comfort.
• Provide direct assistance during food and drink consumption.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain and organize work stations and equipment to support smooth service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio) and HACCP certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar waiter/waitress position.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Team‑player with the ability to work under stress, good physical agility and balance, and a well‑groomed appearance.
• Strong customer orientation and social skills.
