A400M Material Support Specialist

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an A400M Material Support Specialist to join the Materials & Logistics Department in Getafe. The role ensures the availability of materials for the A400M programme by coordinating supply‑chain activities, managing logistics flows and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer material and order portfolios, guaranteeing material availability and monitoring logistics throughout the supply chain.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support purchasing, material follow‑up and delivery performance.
• Monitor, analyse and report departmental KPIs to support operational performance and decision‑making.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects focused on process improvement, reporting and data analysis.
• Perform data analysis (Big Data/Reporting) to identify trends, improve efficiency and support business decisions.
• Assist with financial‑related activities, including cost monitoring and basic financial analysis.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, materials management, supply chain or procurement.
• Advanced level of English.
• High adaptability, proactive mindset and strong analytical thinking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
