Account Management Manager – Caribbean Markets

About the role

The Manager, Account Management is a key member of Mastercard Direct Services, responsible for a portfolio of strategic customers in Caribbean emerging markets. You will shape long‑term payment strategies, grow Mastercard’s share, and act as the single point of contact for each client.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and reassess mid‑ and long‑term payment strategies for each customer.
• Expand the portfolio by growing existing products, winning competition and identifying new opportunities.
• Manage customer P&L, tracking revenue, volume, fees and qualitative KPIs such as Voice of the Customer.
• Maintain dashboards, sales pipelines and market intelligence for internal decision‑making.
• Negotiate contracts, provide economic feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Services, Marketing, Products and Delivery teams to drive new business.
• Analyse market dynamics, key players and activities to uncover growth prospects.

Required profile

• Commercially savvy, sales‑driven with strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet financial targets and handle sales pressure.
• Proven experience building executive‑level relationships in banks or financial services.
• Strong financial acumen and capability to craft complex sales pitches.
• Comfort operating in a matrix organization and securing senior‑management support.
• Demonstrated customer‑facing sales experience in financial services or consumer goods.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
