Accountant – Finance Team (Montmeló, Barcelona)

About the role

BOLD is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team in Montmeló (Barcelona). You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting processes that support the company’s financial integrity and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and discrepancy resolution.
• Review and process employee travel expenses and corporate credit‑card transactions.
• Perform bank accounting and reconciliations to keep records up to date.
• Execute month‑end closing activities (inventory, accruals, provisions) in coordination with the CFO.
• Analyse balance‑sheet and P&L accounts, identify and correct discrepancies, and support internal financial reporting.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on VAT, SII, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax compliance.
• Prepare documentation for audits, grants, and external requests from public authorities, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate financial data in the Odoo ERP system and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial closing and tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
• Experience in industrial, international or fast‑growing environments is highly valued.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
