Accountant – Renewable Energy Finance

About the role

CTGE is looking for a skilled Accountant to support its Finance Department in the renewable‑energy sector. You will help ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and smooth cross‑departmental processes while contributing to the company’s mission of powering the world with clean energy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoices, bookkeeping, bank movements, loan registration, provisions, and prepare monthly closings and internal reports.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany balances, register and track assets, and handle derivatives, leasing, and Guarantees of Origin invoices.
• Prepare annual accounts, support audits, and coordinate with tax and financing teams.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, manage supplier and internal approvals, and collaborate on presentations with the reporting team and accounting controller.
• Maintain communication with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience as an accountant; renewable‑energy experience is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2‑C1) and advanced Spanish (C1‑C2), both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP.
• Strong command of Windows OS.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
