About the role
The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on‑site position based in Port of Spain. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers and reconciling accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Prepare and update invoices and assist with payroll data entry.
- Process payments, track project‑related expenses and file financial records.
- Compile financial reports for management and support audit activities.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and uphold company policies.
Required profile
- Proficiency with accounting software and digital tools.
- Strong bookkeeping experience and knowledge of finance principles.
- Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; relevant experience is an asset.
