Aerostructure Procurement & Contract Manager

About the role

An opportunity for a Procurement & Contract Manager has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Purchasing Team, playing a key role in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy across product lifecycles to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tendering processes, and negotiate contract terms to achieve optimal purchasing conditions aligned with internal and external company requirements.
• Monitor contract compliance and supplier performance across all phases (innovation, development, serial, and support) across key dimensions such as logistics, quality, cost, and support.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with suppliers and oversee active projects to maximize customer value while mitigating operational risks.
• Participate actively as a core member of multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tendering, contracting, and lifecycle management stages.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing.
• Advanced level of English.
• In‑depth understanding of contract law, supplier management methodologies, and Total Cost of Ownership principles.
• Experience in aerospace or complex industrial procurement environments is highly valued.
