Agentic Security Engineer

About the role

Causaprima is hiring a full-time Agentic Security Engineer in Madrid to design and build the System Integrity Layer, the foundational platform primitives that isolate and attribute every agent action, trace every execution, verify every state transition and enforce strict security constraints by construction. It is a hands-on backend security role where security, threat resilience and compliance emerge from system architecture rather than separate governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design the core execution model for autonomous agents and conduct continuous, code-level threat modeling across distributed networks.
• Build append-only, tamper-resistant event systems so every action is reconstructable without external logging.
• Engineer execution and data isolation layers between agents, users and workflows in a multi-tenant infrastructure.
• Run active internal pentesting, adversarial chaos testing and red teaming against the infrastructure.
• Ensure automated accounting processes are attributable, deterministic and verifiable, and embed cryptographic signing and scanning of dependencies into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Translate regulatory and audit requirements into low-level system constraints.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing production backend platforms and distributed systems.
• Deep database expertise including schema design, row-level security and event sourcing.
• Practical application-level security, encryption, key management and authentication patterns.
• An adversarial mindset and hands-on policy-as-code experience with Cerbos, OPA, Cedar or similar.
• Breadth across the security stack; regulated industries such as fintech, banking or insurance are a plus.
