AI-driven Predictive Maintenance Internship – XPLORER 2027

About the role

Ready to join one of Airbus’ programmes in Spain, the XPLORER 2027 project offers a six‑month curricular practicum for final‑year engineering students. You will work on an AI‑driven predictive maintenance framework for industrial tooling, contributing to real‑world manufacturing lines while completing your final‑year project (TFG).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a predictive tooling maintenance framework for production lines.
• Analyze existing preventative maintenance schedules and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Process calibration and maintenance data to refine cycle planning.
• Support the creation of AI‑based predictive models for industrial jigs and tools.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Aerospace, Mechanical, Automation or related field) in the final year of study.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Fluent Spanish language skills.

Required skills

• CATIA
• SAP
• Python (or similar programming/data‑analysis tools)
