AI Specialist - Task Automation

About the role

Join Santander’s Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer division as an AI Specialist focused on task automation. You will drive the adoption of AI and Generative AI solutions that create business value, improve operational efficiency, and enhance client experiences across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI/GenAI use cases for task automation across the value chain.
• Partner with business teams to embed generative AI into daily workflows.
• Ensure all AI solutions meet ethical, regulatory, and data‑privacy standards.
• Define and track metrics for adoption, performance, and developer impact.
• Lead cross‑functional adoption initiatives with IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product owners and platform leaders to align AI tooling with business priorities and technical roadmaps.
• Translate complex AI concepts into actionable solutions for non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI adoption projects, preferably in a large financial institution.
• Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and task automation.
• Ability to work closely with business leaders, data scientists, and technology partners.
• Knowledge of ethical, regulatory and data‑privacy considerations for AI.
• Excellent communication skills to influence strategic AI agendas.
