Air Power Services Pricing (Temp Agency)

About the role

A temporary pricing position within Airbus' Military Air Systems Services Pricing team in Getafe. The jobholder reports to the Head of Military Air Systems Services Pricing and works on the LTA, Tanker and A400M platforms, with an order intake of about 1,500 M€ per year. The role interacts with National Price Authorities and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Set prices based on cost collection and consolidation, and prepare profitability analyses, cash flows, payment profiles, amortization plans and risk registers for commercial offers.
• Validate the consistency of the overall pricing file.
• Support Legal and Contracts on terms and conditions and the contractual structure of legal entities.
• Present business cases to the approval boards (RMC Process).
• Support commercial negotiations with customers to reach profitability targets.
• Lead price investigations for bids and negotiate final prices with customers.
• Support the management of customer contracts, including claims and waivers, in line with Commercial and Contracts.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar job environment.
• Engineering or business school degree; MBA or other postgraduate degree desirable.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish, with commercial and technical vocabulary.
• Knowledge of military programmes and services is beneficial.

Required skills

• Pricing and financial models, business case preparation and price negotiations.
• Great analytical skills and experience in commercial matters.
• Negotiation skills and ability to interpret customer expectations and budgets.
• Ability to challenge costing information, develop pricing strategies and mitigate commercial risk.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and to influence relationships at all levels.
