Airframe Engineering RFE – PET Structure Engineer

About the role

The Airframe Engineering RFE will join the 1ATG2 department at Airbus AOSL Getafe, supporting the A320 and A330 HTP production lines and related components. Based in the Plant Engineering Team (PET), the role bridges design and manufacturing to ensure high‑quality structural repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver concessions and resolve non‑conformities.
• Propose continuous‑improvement ideas.
• Design and analyse composite and metal repairs.
• Provide plant support, acting as a liaison between the design office and the production line.
• Conduct feasibility studies, pre‑designs, detailed part designs and assembly forecasts in line with Airbus design, manufacturing and maintenance rules.
• Challenge and develop new design principles for repair activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc).
• 3‑5 years of engineering experience, preferably in design or stress analysis.
• Familiarity with Airbus documentation processes and tools such as SAP and ISAMI.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and meet project timescales.
• Strong written and verbal English; Spanish is a plus.
