Audit Core Staff – Hybrid Role in Malaga

About the role

Join EY GDS Spain as an Audit Core Staff member in Malaga, working in a hybrid setting. You will support clients on audit projects, contribute to digital transformation initiatives, and develop your expertise with the latest technologies and approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of audit, reporting and documentation.
• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships through data analysis of financial statements.
• Apply accounting and auditing concepts during audit work and verify the accuracy of reports.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures, controls and processes.
• Create audit and accounting client deliverables.
• Collect financial data from clients and analyse documentation for potential audit risks.

Required profile

• University degree with a basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting or audit.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Logical reasoning, ability to multitask, work under pressure and adapt flexibly.
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Very good proficiency with the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
