Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator (Driver)

About the role

The Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator will operate and monitor self‑driving cars on a variety of routes and conditions. After an expense‑paid training period in the United States, you will return to Madrid to support cutting‑edge autonomous mobility services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes, primarily monitoring vehicle behavior in autonomous mode.
• Provide verbal feedback and detailed ride reports to engineering and operations teams.
• Perform manual driving when required and log software performance data.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight periods.
• Maintain the highest safety standards both inside and outside the vehicle.

Required profile

• Valid EU/EEA Category B driving licence held for at least five years.
• Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA for a 4‑6 week training program.
• Successful completion of background, criminal, drug/alcohol, and defensive‑driving checks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods and lift up to 45 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a laptop and Office applications such as Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Comfortable using a handheld touchscreen smartphone.
