About the role

The Kitchen Assistant will support the culinary team at Barceló La Nucía, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with basic culinary training who are eager to develop practical skills in a dynamic hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
• Clean, peel, and cut vegetables.
• Mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Pluck poultry and prepare meat cuts.
• Scale and fillet fish.
• Keep kitchen tools and work surfaces clean.
• Assist in the preservation of raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

• Medium‑level culinary and gastronomy training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Basic knowledge of hospitality operations is valued.
