About the role

We are looking for a Reception Assistant to join our team at the Barceló Hotel in Tenerife. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all documentation for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the reception area and its furnishings.
• Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, providing accurate information to guests.
• Perform currency exchange services for guests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and dining areas to ensure guest needs are met.
• Provide information to guests and address any complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar front‑desk role.
• High level of English; a second language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office software and reservation systems is valued.
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, customer orientation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
