Backend Software Engineer

About the role

Huspy is scaling its Real Estate Agent Platform and Mortgage Broker Portal and needs a senior backend engineer to help build the next generation of its SuperApp. You will work in a hybrid setting from Dubai, Madrid, or anywhere in the EU, collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to and own key components of the codebase using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Drive best‑practice software development, ensuring high code quality and robust architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable backend solutions.
• Participate in technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data stakeholders to align on goals and deliverables.

Required profile

• Several years of senior‑level backend engineering experience.
• Strong product‑focused mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and possibly relocate to Dubai or Madrid.
