Business Consultant - R&D

About the role

Veeva is expanding its Business Consulting practice to help life‑sciences companies accelerate the delivery of treatments. As a Business Consultant in the R&D practice, you will work with technology, data and AI to reshape operating models, drive organizational change and deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project workstreams from end‑to‑end, ensuring high‑quality design and delivery of customer solutions.
• Solve complex problems for life‑sciences leaders by leveraging Veeva’s data and software insights.
• Mentor and manage Associate Consultants, overseeing their work and professional development.
• Contribute to practice growth through business development and internal IP creation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in life‑sciences consulting (business or management consulting preferred).
• Proven expertise in Clinical Data/Operations, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety.
• Strong analytical mindset for both quantitative and qualitative reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Veeva products.
• Experience delivering SaaS or tech‑enabled consulting solutions.
