Business Continuity Manager

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Business Continuity Manager to establish and lead its Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme in one of its key markets, reporting to HO BCM Spain and working with global colleagues and divisional stakeholders. The role is responsible for keeping operations resilient and risks proactively managed, and is based in the Getafe area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design, greenfield establishment and ongoing excellence of the BCM programme in the assigned country, covering Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), continuity plans and acting as supporting the National BCM Risk Owner.
• Maintain ISO 22301 certification and ensure compliance with internal and international BCM standards.
• Design and run scenario-based training and exercises for all staff levels, and manage external vendors and teams involved in BCM deployment.
• Provide expert support during real incidents and carry out post-incident evaluations.
• Define and drive the multi-year BCM roadmap, policies and procedures aligned with the global divisional framework.
• Manage external vendors and cross-functional teams to deploy digital BCM tools and ensure BIAs reflect the whole division's operations.
• Produce a country-level BCM Risk Profile integrated into the Enterprise Risk Management process.

Required profile

• Professional experience level; the role is described as a strategic leadership position.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, security-sensitive industry such as defence and space.
• Commitment to integrity and awareness of compliance risks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 22301 and BCM best practices.
• Business Impact Analysis and risk assessment.
• Incident management and post-incident evaluation.
