Business Development Manager – CCTV & Electronic Security

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of our CCTV and electronic security solutions across government and enterprise markets. The role focuses on consultative selling, leading large‑scale public‑sector projects such as Safe City, Intelligent Transportation Systems and critical infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement market penetration strategies for public and private security projects.
• Manage the full public tender cycle, from early opportunity detection and ethical lobbying to technical specification drafting and deal closure.
• Identify and develop opportunities in key verticals including municipalities, transportation and energy.
• Build and maintain relationships with system integrators and strategic partners serving government and private sectors.
• Deliver high‑level technical and commercial presentations to decision‑makers.
• Prepare pipeline reports and accurate sales forecasts for regional management.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems), Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling electronic security solutions (CCTV, Access Control) to government entities.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas on large‑scale projects.
• Active network of contacts with government integrators and public‑sector decision‑makers.
• “Hunter” mindset with ability to work autonomously and deliver immediate results.
• Willingness to travel within Guayana and conversational English proficiency.
