About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by building and nurturing partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands. This role focuses on expanding category selections to create value for both the business and its customers, while guiding partners through market positioning and operational strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands, aligning category selections with business and customer needs.
  • Assist partners in establishing and scaling their presence on the platform, providing guidance on market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operations.
  • Generate innovative ideas based on category performance and lead projects through resource integration and merchant support.
  • Produce industry analysis reports, identify customer needs through data analysis, and adapt strategies to market trends.

Required profile

  • Minimum 3 years of operational experience, preferably in brand management or platform operations.
  • Strong network of local sellers and vendors is a plus.
  • Excellent data analysis capabilities to interpret industry trends and inform project decisions.
  • Ability to devise and guide comprehensive merchant marketing plans.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to rapid changes.
  • Resilient under pressure, capable of managing logistics during high‑demand periods.
