Business Development Manager – Sustainable Materials (French Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an International Business Development Manager to accelerate growth of a breakthrough bio‑based material across the United Kingdom, the Nordic region and France. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape new markets, forge strategic partnerships and support the commercial rollout of a disruptive sustainable technology.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK, Nordic countries and France.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with packaging converters, paper manufacturers and global consumer brands.
• Lead complex customer development projects from initial contact through technical validation to commercial agreement.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and technical teams based in Valencia.
• Spot emerging market opportunities and establish strategic alliances.
• Travel regularly across the assigned territory and visit the Valencia headquarters bi‑weekly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Business Development, Technical Sales or Key Account Management within an industrial B2B environment.
• Background in packaging, paper, specialty chemicals, polymers, industrial materials or manufacturing.
• Fluent in French and English; conversational Spanish is a plus.
• Experience managing consultative sales processes and long technical sales cycles.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating new markets rather than selling established products.
