Business Development Manager – Transmission Line Projects

About the role

ACCIONA's concessions business is looking for a Business Development Manager for its Transmission Line Projects team in Madrid. The role supports national and international projects linked to infrastructure under public-private partnership (PPP) regimes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of competitive bids for transmission tenders, meeting formal and strategic requirements.
• Manage the work of internal areas and external partners to integrate technical, financial and legal components of the proposal.
• Control the bid schedule and budget, and act as operational liaison with the contracting authority on inquiries, clarifications and presentations.
• Plan and manage the bid plan, set schedules and deliverables, and coordinate technical, O&M, environmental, social, land, financial, legal and ESG areas.
• Review tender documentation, build a compliance checklist and establish partnerships with partners and contractors.
• Supervise RFIs/Q&A preparation, validate key sections of the proposal and manage presentation schedules and speaker training.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as requirement changes, competition or deadline shifts, and take part in post-tender evaluations.

Required profile

• Engineering, Economics or Business Administration degree; master's degree desirable.
• 10 to 20 years of experience managing concession or infrastructure tenders.
• English at C1 level.
