Business Development Team Lead (Barcelona or Tallinn)

About the role

We are a UK‑licensed Electronic Money Institution building modern financial infrastructure. We are looking for a Business Development Team Lead to manage and grow our Business Development team in Barcelona or Tallinn. This hands‑on role combines personal business development experience with daily team management, ensuring the team meets commercial targets and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Business Development team on a daily basis, including stand‑ups, one‑to‑one meetings and performance reviews.
• Monitor individual and team KPIs, coach Business Development Managers and support onboarding of new members.
• Maintain pipeline health, follow‑up activities and CRM accuracy while assisting in closing key opportunities.
• Track team performance, prepare regular reports and ensure compliance with internal processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to align commercial objectives.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of Business Development or Sales experience in the fintech sector.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing a sales team.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication abilities.
• Fluent English; Russian language skills are a significant advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools.
