Business Intelligence & Operations Lead

About the role

The Business Intelligence & Operations Lead owns the design, implementation and continuous evolution of the GSB Solutions Business Operating System. Using data, analytics, automation and governance, the role gives leadership the insights, performance management capabilities and decision frameworks needed to scale the software and solutions business globally. The position is based in Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end assessment and transformation of the GSB Solutions data ecosystem, mapping business processes, systems and data flows across R&D, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Contracts, Operations and Finance, and defining data dependencies, governance and business models across Large Format and Industrial businesses.
• Define and implement a unified business intelligence framework for all GSB Solutions offerings, aligning KPI requirements, standardizing metrics and building a roadmap for reporting automation, analytics and decision support.
• Analyze trends, sales performance, customer adoption, revenue streams, renewals and operational metrics, turning complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Design and run reporting models, executive dashboards, business reviews, forecasting and performance cadences so leadership has timely, accurate visibility.
• Act as a strategic business partner to GSB Solutions leadership, driving cross-functional alignment and process optimization.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a strong advantage.
• Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Finance or Business Operations, able to turn business needs into scalable reporting and analytics.
• Solid understanding of software, services, subscription or solutions businesses, including pipeline, bookings, revenue, adoption, retention, renewals and profitability.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and financial acumen.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Agentic AI, applied to BI, performance management, process automation and predictive analytics.
• Data analytics and reporting capabilities.
