Civil Superintendent – Solar PV Projects

About the role

Gransolar Group is seeking a Civil Superintendent to support the planning, design, organization and supervision of civil works for large‑scale solar photovoltaic projects. The role is based in our Madrid office with the expectation to relocate to a project site in Kentucky, USA.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Civil Superintendent in closing civil works sub‑contracts, including measurements, price review and specification checks.
• Control progress of civil units such as foundations, fencing, roads, trenches and earthworks.
• Organize and review the work of civil subcontractors and prepare weekly progress reports.
• Update engineering drawings as‑built using CAD tools when required.
• Validate subcontractor invoices and monitor equipment delivery, yields and distribution on site.
• Ensure all civil teams follow safety procedures and correctly delimit work areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (higher degree preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in construction of photovoltaic plants.
• Proficient English (B2/C1 level).

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• User‑level experience with AutoCAD and CAD drawing updates.
