Cleaner (School Janitorial)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join the British School of Málaga. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for students, staff and visitors. You will work closely with school personnel to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas.
• Maintain hygiene standards in accordance with school policies and health & safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on the usage of cleaning supplies and the condition of equipment.
• Collaborate with school staff to address specific cleaning needs and priorities.
• Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Required skills

• Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Knowledge of best practices for cleaning and use of cleaning equipment.
