Client Associate – Banking Customer Service

About the role

As a Client Associate you will be the front‑line representative of RBC, delivering a seamless client experience on the branch floor. You will assist clients with everyday banking transactions, promote digital solutions, and ensure a smooth flow of customers through the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and solutions for everyday banking, new account opening, term deposits, and credit cards.
• Engage clients on entry, introduce digital banking tools, and direct them to Sales Professionals when appropriate.
• Handle client concerns at the first point of contact, applying “Make it Right” principles and logging cases in the complaint system.
• Manage cash operations as a Primary Cash Custodian, including cash ordering, redemption, and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Maintain compliance with RBC policies to minimise cash differences, fraud and losses.

Required profile

• Minimum of five passes (Grades I‑III or A‑C) with compulsory Math and English.
• Proven customer‑service and operational experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong multitasking, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in mobile and digital devices with the ability to guide clients through self‑service applications.
