Cocinero/a para Hotel Occidental Bilbao

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated cook to join the kitchen team at Hotel Occidental Bilbao, part of the Barceló Group. The role involves preparing dishes according to the established menu and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on technical sheets of the menu rotation.
• Ensure proper kitchen functioning under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food following established standards and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Knowledge of the hospitality sector is valued.
• Ability to work in a team, handle stress and solve unexpected issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
