Cocinero/a para Hotel Occidental Puerto Banús

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at Hotel Occidental Puerto Banús, part of the Barceló Group. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef, ensuring high-quality food preparation and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes according to technical sheets and the established menu rotation.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost management, inventory control, and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with work requirements, standards, procedures, and current safety and hygiene legislation.

Required profile

• Education: Higher Vocational Training in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy, HACCP course.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar cooking position.
• No language requirement.
• Teamwork, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving ability, and meticulousness.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge (APPCC/HACCP).
