Commercial Transactional Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transactional Lawyer to join our international team remotely from Spain. You will provide strategic legal support for complex commercial operations, ensuring that contracts and corporate transactions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, service, licensing, distribution, partnership, NDA, and joint‑venture contracts.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations, and compliance under applicable Australian laws.
• Support corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganisations through legal due diligence and documentation preparation.
• Analyse business strategies from a legal perspective and deliver practical recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of changes in commercial legislation, regulations, and contract law.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non‑legal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, or a related legal field.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with international teams and business stakeholders.
