Communications Director – Mediterranean Region

About the role

The Communications Director will design and execute Louis Vuitton's Mediterranean communication strategy, aligning brand leadership with regional business objectives. The role covers Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Turkey, Israel and Kazakhstan, working closely with regional leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee the Mediterranean communication strategy in line with global and EMEA direction.
• Lead, mentor and develop the regional communication team.
• Establish paid media strategy with the global media team, focusing on performance.
• Implement a 360° press strategy and maintain a consistent brand presence on social media.
• Collaborate with global talent teams on celebrity and influencer initiatives.
• Manage regional PR budget and communication agencies in Portugal, Turkey and Greece.
• Set KPIs, monitor brand awareness and business results.
• Partner with merchandising, client development, digital, finance and retail development teams for cross‑channel alignment.
• Organise local events, store openings and brand partnerships.
• Share communication results to support clienteling and drive sales.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience leading PR, communications and media activities for a retail organization.
• Experience with luxury brands is a plus.
• International work experience is a plus.
• Proven track record managing events such as store openings.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across business matrices.
