Construction (Site) Logistics Manager - Data Centres

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Construction (Site) Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end logistics function for large-scale construction projects, including data centre construction. The role covers strategic planning, vendor management, site delivery coordination and inventory control, ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance and site delivery.
• Oversee staging, storage and just-in-time delivery to minimise site congestion.
• Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies such as buffer stock and alternative sourcing.
• Use ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with data centre or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Spanish and very good English.
• Willingness to be present on-site as required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, customs regulations and construction logistics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project management tools.
• Negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and interfaces, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
