Content Manager – French Speaker

About the role

Datawords Group is seeking a French‑speaking Content Manager to lead linguistic projects for its international clients. You will coordinate content production, ensure quality, and act as the bridge between French‑market clients and internal multilingual teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Collaborate with French‑speaking clients and multinational internal teams.
• Perform quality control on French content across diverse styles, terminologies, and formats.
• Develop editorial briefs, glossaries, and ensure copy matches client style, tone, and brand guidelines.
• Manage budgets, negotiate deadlines, and maintain project profitability.
• Recruit, train, and supervise copywriters, translators, post‑editors, and proofreaders.
• Work closely with the Paris production headquarters to align multilingual workflows.

Required profile

• Native‑level French with high‑level English proficiency.
• BA or MA in Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills in French.
• Experience in copywriting, linguistic project management, journalism, or translation.
• Adaptable, team‑oriented, and comfortable in a multicultural, young work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with Trados Studio (a plus).
