Contract Lawyer – Remote Commercial Contracts Attorney

About the role

Comrise is looking for experienced, tech‑savvy contract lawyers to work on a fully remote, project‑based basis across Spain. You will independently select commercial‑contract assignments, manage your own schedule, and deliver high‑quality legal work for leading technology companies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and redline a wide range of technology‑focused commercial agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on contract terms, business risk, intellectual‑property licensing, and negotiation tactics.
• Maintain a steady pipeline of on‑demand projects with rapid turnaround, including 24‑hour delivery for selected deliverables.
• Handle SaaS and cloud agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements, commercial terms & conditions, IP licensing, and AI‑specific transactional terms.

Required profile

• Fully qualified abogado/abogada in Spain, in good standing with a local bar association.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, either at a top‑tier law firm or as in‑house counsel for a scaling tech company.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SaaS, cloud, GDPR/DPA, open‑source compliance, and emerging AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act).
• Experience with European public procurement contracts is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage variable workload, and hold professional liability insurance.
• Fluent in Spanish and business‑level English.
