Cook (Cocinero/a) – Hotel Barceló Ponent Beach

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at Hotel Barceló Ponent Beach. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef, ensuring high‑quality food preparation in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes according to the technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, reheating and restocking of food items.
• Support the receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Higher‑level culinary training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Cocina y Gastronomía).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen position.
• Ability to work in a team, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving and meticulousness.

Required skills

• Culinary degree (higher level).
• HACCP certification.
