Country Manager – Central & Eastern Europe (Czech Republic focus)

About the role

Factorial is seeking a Country Manager to launch and grow its presence in the Czech Republic and the wider Central‑Eastern European region (excluding Poland). You will be the first on‑the‑ground leader, shaping the go‑to‑market strategy, building partner networks and laying the foundations for a scalable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the market entry plan, adapting the global GTM strategy to achieve sustainable local growth.
• Identify, recruit and activate HR‑tech partners, resellers and consultants, using a partner‑only GTM approach.
• Represent Factorial at local events, industry networks and with key stakeholders, becoming the public face of the company.
• Collect market intelligence from partners, customers and competitors to refine product‑market fit.
• Collaborate with global product, marketing, customer experience and leadership teams to ensure alignment and local adaptation.
• Set up local processes, define operational needs and prepare the organization for future team expansion.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales, business development or market launch roles within B2B SaaS or digital transformation environments.
• Proven track record of entering new markets or building business units from scratch.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality – persistent, resourceful and comfortable opening new doors.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders, partners and customers.
• Fluent in English and professional proficiency in at least one Central‑Eastern European language (e.g., Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovene or Slovak).
