Customer Support Agent (Basque) – Airline

About the role

A leading airline is recruiting Basque-speaking Customer Support Advisors to assist passengers across its regional markets in Spain. The position is based in Barcelona, Spain, on a 100% on-site basis and is full-time. The agent supports customers with travel-related enquiries, explains airline services and policies and helps resolve issues throughout the passenger's journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assist passengers with flight reservations, booking amendments and cancellations
• Provide information on baggage allowances, delayed luggage and missing baggage
• Help customers with online check-in, boarding enquiries and travel documentation
• Assist passengers affected by flight disruptions and respond to refund requests
• Handle customer complaints and resolve travel-related issues professionally
• Explain airline policies, procedures and available options clearly
• Deliver a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving

Required profile

• Fluency in Basque and English at B2 level
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to understand customer concerns and give clear, helpful solutions
• Calm and professional approach with stressed or dissatisfied passengers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• 39-hour working week, Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 and 20:00, with rotating shifts
