Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

About the role

BASF Digital Hub Madrid is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d) to act as Security Officer of the Connectivity Platform. The platform is globally responsible for the highly scaled WAN, LAN and WLAN networks and Unified Communication services across their whole lifecycle. The role covers planning and managing IT security so that data, network resources and systems remain secure and contractual obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT security so that data, network resources and systems stay secure and contracts are respected
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and review them against security policies, standards, best practices, guidelines and procedures
• Review all incidents with a potential security implication or breach
• Collaborate globally with internal and external stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree in business economics, computer science, information technology, software or another related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a digital environment
• Experience in provider and sourcing management
• Fluent English communication and consulting skills; Spanish and German are desirable, other languages are a plus
• Curious, likes to learn and share knowledge, and works with empowerment, entrepreneurship and self-organisation

• ITIL knowledge
