Cybersecurity Operations Consultant

About the role

The Cybersecurity Operations Consultant will support the delivery of cybersecurity operations services and projects for UNICC’s partner organization, aligning with its strategic roadmap and ensuring a secure Google Cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts and anomalies using Google Security Command Center, DLP and other Google security tools.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement architecture changes, hardening configurations, and new detection use cases in Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain automation playbooks with Google Cloud Functions, SOAR and security orchestration.
• Support security risk assessments, audits and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
• Manage vulnerabilities using Google‑native tools or third‑party solutions such as Qualys and CrowdStrike.
• Integrate Google Cloud security with other controls like Splunk and CrowdStrike to enhance threat detection and incident response.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of IT experience, including incident response or forensics in Google Cloud.
• University degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Expert level English proficiency.
