Data Extraction Manager – OpenData EMEA (Remote)

About the role

Veeva OpenData Commercial supports the healthcare ecosystem by providing reference data for commercial sales, compliance, and analytics. The role leads a team of 6‑8 data analysts focused on website data extraction, configuring crawlers and delivering fresh data to customers. It directly impacts customer success through timely, high‑quality data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6‑8 analysts, handling hiring and performance management.
• Manage workload in collaboration with product managers.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of extracted data.
• Select appropriate tools for data extraction and crawling.
• Deliver extracted data and reports on schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience leading a technical team.
• Strong understanding of best practices such as version control and code reviews.
• Hands‑on experience building robust, scalable crawlers.
• Solid grasp of data structures and data models.
• Project and task management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
