Data Scientist – Applied AI Lab

About the role

INSUD PHARMA’s AI Labs is looking for an Applied Data Scientist to join its Data Science team. You will work on diverse, high‑impact problems across R&D, drug manufacturing process optimisation, clinical trials and more, building models from the ground up and delivering them into production.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with small, cross‑functional squads (Product Manager, Engineer, stakeholders) to define problem framing and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and generate insights.
• Design, develop, and rigorously validate models using graph theory, embeddings, neural‑network forecasting, causality and Bayesian optimisation.
• Own the full deployment pipeline, ensuring models are production‑ready and continuously monitored.
• Present work in regular demo days and contribute to white‑board problem‑solving sessions.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in data science and machine learning.
• Curiosity to tackle varied domains and rigor to justify methodological choices.
• Ability to work independently while delivering visible impact from day one.
• Comfort with fast‑moving, startup‑like environment and flat, collaborative culture.
