DevOps Software Architect – Services & Infrastructure

About the role

Join the newly established Systems Centre of Competence within TADY, part of Airbus Defence and Space. As a DevOps Software Architect you will design and maintain on‑premise Kubernetes clusters that support secure, scalable aerospace systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure on‑premise Kubernetes clusters, managing deployments, services and networking.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform as Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage code and configurations in air‑gapped environments, ensuring secure dependency handling.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems, troubleshoot performance and optimise resources.
• Configure secure network connections (SSH, HTTPS) and virtualised storage solutions.
• Set up centralized logging, alerting and monitoring; automate tasks with Python and Bash.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or equivalent practical DevOps experience.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including networking.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
• Familiarity with network protocols, secure connections and firewalls.
• Ability to work in secure, air‑gapped environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; German or French a plus.
