Digital Regulations Specialist – Temporary

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Regulations Specialist to join Airbus’ Digital Regulatory Legal Affairs team in Getafe, Spain. The role supports the implementation of privacy, artificial intelligence and data‑act compliance programmes across Airbus business units, ensuring high standards of digital ethics and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess Airbus personal data processing and AI system mapping, maintaining up‑to‑date regulatory records.
• Launch, support and validate digital regulation risk assessments (privacy, AI, etc.).
• Contribute to the creation and update of internal digital regulation policies, processes and tools.
• Provide legal guidance on emerging regulations to balance innovation with legal certainty.
• Support contractual negotiations on digital regulation terms.
• Manage personal data breaches and data‑subject requests in coordination with relevant functions.
• Conduct digital regulation audits and deliver training to employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Digital Regulatory Lawyer or Specialist, preferably in a large international group.
• Advanced university degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent) with a focus on ICT, digital or intellectual property law.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, rigorous and solution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and in teams.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GDPR and European digital regulations (DSA, DMA, AI Act, NIS2).
• Expertise in privacy law, data governance and digital compliance.
• Familiarity with AI and IT technologies as they relate to regulatory frameworks.
