Digital Workplace Support Specialist – Barcelona

About the role

The Digital Workplace Support Specialist will deliver remote and on‑site IT support for Syntax employees worldwide, ensuring a seamless digital experience across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. Based in Barcelona, the role combines day‑to‑day operations with project work in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for a hybrid PC + Mac environment serving 3,000+ users.
• Manage Microsoft Office 365, corporate applications, and employee onboarding processes.
• Support office meeting rooms, videoconferencing equipment (Logitech Rally Bar) and VIP users.
• Maintain LAN/WLAN, VPN, cabling, and office telephony infrastructure.
• Collaborate with global IT teams across America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
• Handle incidents, requests, and asset data in ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in at least four of the listed technical areas.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to train less‑technical users.
• Organised work style with the capacity to manage daily tasks and projects.
