Director B2B Travel Acceptance Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director to lead its B2B Travel Acceptance Solutions globally. The role sits at the intersection of business development, acceptance strategy, solution consulting and product commercialization, driving growth and adoption across the travel ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and strengthen Mastercard's leadership in B2B travel payments and acceptance solutions worldwide.
• Build and execute the global B2B Travel Acceptance Solutions strategy across merchants, acquirers, PayFacs, PSPs, issuers, program managers, GDS, travel technology platforms, airlines, hotels, OTAs and other ecosystem participants.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for B2B travel acceptance flows, virtual card/VCN acceptance, travel merchant needs and Mastercard’s value proposition.
• Lead acceptance commercialization, including GTM strategy, bundled value propositions, market readiness, executive engagement, sales pipeline ownership, partner onboarding, certification, activation and KPI monitoring.
• Partner with product, solution architects and customer‑solution teams to design end‑to‑end, customer‑centric B2B travel acceptance solutions.
• Collaborate with regional teams, Global Acceptance, Merchant Solutions, Finance, Legal, Risk and account teams to ensure successful execution.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in B2B payments, travel payments or related financial services.
• Strong track record of building trusted relationships with travel intermediaries, airlines, hotels, GDS, issuers, acquirers, PayFacs and PSPs.
• Demonstrated ability to shape and execute global go‑to‑market strategies and drive measurable growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
• Experience working in a multinational environment and managing cross‑functional teams.
