Early Years Support Educator – Barcelona

About the role

Boundless Life is launching a new education centre in Barcelona and is looking for an Early Years Support Educator to join the Explorers age group (children 1‑5 years). Working closely with the Lead Educator, you will help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment that blends classroom activities with experiential, inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the duty of care for all children and maintain a safe, inclusive learning space.
• Collaborate with the Lead Educator to design and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
• Implement Montessori and other child‑centred approaches, preparing resources and leading workshops in areas such as nature time, arts, science and cultural immersion.
• Supervise lunch, snack, nap time and playground periods, and assist with classroom continuity when needed.
• Observe children’s progress, provide insights to the Lead Educator and advocate for children with additional learning or behavioural needs.

Required profile

• Fluent English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Living in Barcelona or willing to relocate and commute daily.
• Experience working with children aged 1‑5 and a genuine passion for early years education.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive practice for culturally and linguistically diverse families.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain safeguarding, child protection and first‑aid certifications.

What we offer

• Opportunity to shape an innovative, place‑based curriculum that turns destinations into classrooms.
• Professional growth in a dynamic, fast‑expanding international organisation.
• Family benefits, including discounted tuition for your children at Boundless Schools.
• Impactful work that supports holistic development of young learners.
