EMEA Project Manager – CAPEX Projects

About the role

The EMEA Project Manager will lead and supervise major CAPEX projects across multiple EMEA countries, focusing on new bakery installations and maintenance optimisation. You will work closely with local maintenance managers, engineering teams and senior management to deliver projects on time, within budget and to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CAPEX projects for new bakeries, contributing to business case development, investment sizing and scheduling.
• Develop project scopes, detailed work plans, budgets, resource plans and status reports following Grupo Bimbo methodologies.
• Prepare technical specifications, manage tender processes, evaluate quotations and recommend suppliers.
• Coordinate with local production, maintenance, quality, logistics and IT teams, as well as external vendors and consultants.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, CMMS implementation, predictive programmes and fire‑prevention initiatives.
• Manage equipment delivery, installation, commissioning and final acceptance.
• Monitor project financials, process payments and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Drive maintenance improvement programmes, including lubrication planning, sensor integration and breakdown analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale CAPEX projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of bakery production processes and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams across different countries.
• Experience in budgeting, procurement and supplier management.
• Familiarity with fire‑prevention standards and regulatory compliance.
