End-to-End Operations Quality Assurance – Rear Fuselage Empennage

About the role

Join Airbus' Quality Engineering Airframe community to drive digital transformation and ensure the highest standards for rear fuselage empennage components. This position is based in Getafe and works closely with teams in Hamburg and across the transnational network.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the quality engineering focal point for Customer Services, guaranteeing the quality of repairs, Structure Repair Manuals (SRM) and Safety‑Related Item (SARI) investigations.
• Lead core quality activities across programs, including PPS, DFMEA, FIC and design reviews.
• Develop, maintain and report effective Quality KPIs and integrated management reviews.
• Participate in the digitalisation quality engineering network and collaborate with Airframe, Plant, Program, R&T, Customer Services and Digitalisation teams.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• General knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Engineering degree or related discipline.
• Basic project‑management skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work autonomously.
• Proven experience in continuous‑improvement projects and stakeholder management.
