Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor

About the role

Lear Corporation is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor in Vigo. The role coordinates and enforces the site's EHS program to ensure a safe and compliant workplace, partnering with employees and leadership to promote a safety culture, deliver training and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the site EHS program so it complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out safety inspections, risk assessments and job safety analyses across facilities and operations.
• Deliver EHS training, including new-hire safety orientation and ongoing site training.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action planning with management.
• Identify safety improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives and safety committees.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and practices.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Ability to influence and advise employees and leaders on accident prevention and safe work practices.
